Improvements

Exchanges

As of February 27, TT is now processing non-tradable and non-hedgable market data on Futures for the ICE and ICE_L markets, for reference by the corresponding Options contracts in order to ensure TVTIC compliance.

In the TTW Market Grid, these Futures will appear with a red background to indicate that they are non-tradable, and the Status will be displayed as Unknown. This change does not impact existing ICE or ICE_L contracts, or alter their current behavior.

FIX Services

The description of tag 393 (TotalNumSecurities) will be updated in the TT FIX Library. There is no change to existing functionality or behavior of this tag.

Improvements

Settings

Added a new "Enable Exception Management" setting to the FIX Order Routing session configuration in TT Setup. When enabled, most inbound FIX care orders with errors will no longer result in immediate client rejections. Instead, these orders will be processed and displayed in the TT front-end within a new "Order Exceptions" widget. This widget provides "Repair" or "Reject" options for direct management of these error orders. Note that front-end users must have OMS Advanced features enabled in Setup to access this functionality. See our documentation for more details.

Improvements

Exchanges

A separate Market Data Subscription of 'Power Derivatives' has been added on TT User Setup. Any customers interested in trading the Nordic Power Derivatives, that were recently introduced on Euronext, should have this permission enabled.
This change is currently provided only to enable the customers to do the required configuration before the actual migration date of these contracts from Nasdaq to Euronext (which will happen on 15 Mar). Enabling or disabling this permission will not have any effect till 15 Mar. Post 15 Mar, only those customers that have this Power Derivatives subscription enabled will be able to view and trade these power derivatives on Euronext through TT.

Trade Surveillance

14.3.1
Enhancements

Update to DealTime Model
The model has been updated to change the threshold to 15mins from 5mins for Complex Strategies involving block trades.
What the model will do now is for every 5 minute window instrument block trade, it will check to see if the same trader had another block transaction at the exact same time as the first one, and if so, have the model use the 15 minute window instead of 5 minutes. This only applies to a subset of products:
Brent Crude Futures (B) Low Sulphur Gasoil Futures (G) WTI Crude Futures (T) Midland WTI American Gulf Coast Futures (HOU) Heating Oil Futures (O) RBOB Gasoline Futures (N) NYH Heating Oil Last Day Future (OLD) (RBOB) Gasoline Last Day Future (NLD) WTI Crude Oil Last Day Future (WLD) Permian WTI Storage Futures (HOS) NYH ULSD Futures (O62) NYH ULSHO Futures (O67)

Utilising ICE product schedule information for better detection of abusive messaging
We are now excluding events that are outside the trading hours for ICE products so that we minimize false abusive messaging clusters.
False clusters, previously generated when FIX messages were replayed upon session reconnects or restarts, are now prevented.

Bug Fixes

Fixed Thread Exhaustion and on heap memory exhaustion from TTUS Client Library Updates
Addressed a memory leak within the TTUS Client Query Service on AP Northeast view servers, which was causing application crashes and restarts. Additionally, event deduplication has been implemented to reduce server congestion.

FIX Services

U.S. Daylight Saving Time (DST) begins March 8 at 2:00 AM local time.

TT FIX services reset weekly on Saturdays at 22:00 UTC by default. If FIX sessions utilize the optional Reset Schedule in Setup to perform a daily reset or change TT's weekly default, please note that these times are configured in UTC. If users desire to maintain the same daily reset time relative to their local time zone, they may need to adjust the UTC time Reset Schedule in Setup.

For example, if a FIX client application configured a daily reset time in Setup to be performed at 22:45 UTC, the session would be reset at 16:45 CST prior to Daylight Savings Time going into effect. When DST begins, the reset would occur at 17:45 CDT if no action was taken to adjust the Reset Schedule.

FIX clients connected to FIX v291 or higher have the option to specify a time zone other than UTC in the Session Reset Schedule in Setup. Configuring a time zone other than UTC eliminates the need to adjust configuration for seasonal time changes.
