Improvements

Fills

Currently, manual fills created via the Order Ticket on a Staged order are sent as Admin fills (which populate throughout the TT system and affect risk). But manual fills created on non-staged orders using the Order Ticket and/or MD Trader are sent as Local manual fills (which do not affect risk and are truly local to that user's workstation). We have now standardized this so manual fills created from order entry widgets are always sent as Admin manual fills. We have added a new order type named "Local Fill" that when submitted behaves the same as currently created Local manual fills.. Note that manual fills created from the Position Manager widget continue to be submitted as either Local or Admin as designated from within the Position Manager prior to submitting.

Orders

Some background information: When using the Advanced OMS care order features of Bulking, Stitching and Splitting, the terms "From" and "To" refer to the various parent and child care orders that result from those actions. For example, a "BulkFrom" order is a care order that was bulked into a larger "BulkTo" parent order. And a "SplitFrom" order refers to the original care order that was split into smaller "SplitTo" constituent orders.
TT does not support executing a SplitFrom parent staged order -- the smaller SplitTo orders must be executed instead. Similarly, TT does not support executing BulkFrom and StitchFrom care orders that have been bulked and/or stitched into BulkTo and StitchTo parent orders that can be executed.
To prevent attempting unsupported actions in the Order Book: (1) When one or more parent SplitFrom care orders, child BulkFrom and/or child StitchFrom care orders are selected, the Execute button is now disabled. (2) When the Execute button is clicked on a selection of multiple care orders, any SplitFrom/BulkFrom/StitchFrom orders in the selection will be ignored and not attempted to be executed.

FIX Services

In order to improve performance, Recovery service for order routing has been moved onto separate hosts from drop copy recovery, which necessitated separate ports to be allocated in the TT network. The new ports are: UAT: 11508 / 11708; Production: 11708.
Clients requesting recovery for order routing sessions must use the new ports to connect.

Plan

Options

In preparation for production release on October 14, TT has introduced support for CFE's Options on IBHY, IBIG, and VX Futures in the UAT environment.
1. Options on Corporate Bond Index Symbols: IBYO (IBHY Options), IBGO (IBIG Options) For more information: https://ir.cboe.com/news/news-details/2023/Cboe-Global-Markets-Plans-to-Expand-Corporate-Bond-Index-Offering-with-New-Options-on-Futures-and-Extended-Trading-Hours-for-IBHY-and-IBIG-Futures-06-28-2023/default.aspx
2. Weekly Options on VIX Futures (VX Options) Symbol: VX For more information: VIX Options on Futures Hub, https://www.cboe.com/VIX-OOF-pipeline-hub/
3. Complex Instruments or Strategies: Complex instruments or strategies on Options created by market participants will be available for trading. TT does not support creating strategies, only trading them.
Order Execution Notes: 4. Both Options and Strategies only support Limit orders
5. Please note the Synthetic Best Bid and Offer (SBBO) mechanism on strategies. From CFE: "The prices at which a complex instrument can be bought or sold based only on the best bids and offers on the single leg book on the Exchange is referred to as the Synthetic BBO (SBBO)." Please see https://cdn.cboe.com/resources/membership/US-Options-Complex-Book-Process.pdf Page 8.
6. Algo/ ADL: As only limit orders are allowed, all “go to market” functions for TT Order Types must use a limit order placed x ticks through the market. If a child's order is subject to the Synthetic BBO logic, it may not fill as expected by the Algo. This could lead to incomplete or failed parent orders.
