Use the Trader Ids tab to add or modify user-defined trader IDs that will override the default trader identification configured per connection. Trader IDs that are created on this tab can be assigned per user using the Exchanges tab.
Some exchanges issue Trader IDs to exchange members, and these values are configured per connection in User Setup. Typically, the exchange-provided ID is sent to the exchange on order actions to identify the user submitting an order. However, if a user is assigned to a Trader ID that is different than the Trader ID that is assigned to the connection, the user will need to be assigned a user-defined trader ID. This value is then sent to the exchange instead of the exchange-provided trader ID.
Note: If added, the user-defined value must be registered at any exchange that requires trader identification on manual and automated order actions.
