MiFID II Order Defaults

Prior to January 3, the following default values will be sent on order entry unless configured by the user for each of the following exchanges: EEX, Eurex, Euronext, LME, NASDAQ.

Eurex/EEX

  • Trading Capacity = (Based on Account Type)
  • Liquidity Provision = False
  • Client ID = PNAL (2)

Euronext

Null values, which are accepted by the exchange, will be automatically sent in the new MIFID fields when they are not populated by the client. Ensure that these values are properly populated once required by the exchange.

LME

Base Products (Account Type A2):

  • Direct Electronic Access: True
  • Trading Capacity: DEAL
  • Commodity Derivative Indicator: True
  • Execution Decision ID: 1234
  • Client ID (House): 1234

Precious Products (Account Type A1, A3 or A3):

  • Direct Electronic Access: True
  • Trading Capacity: DEAL
  • Commodity Derivative Indicator: True
  • Execution Decision ID: 1234
  • ClientID (House): 1234
  • Decision Maker: 1234
  • Client ID (Client): 1234
  • Client Country: GB

NASDAQ

  • Trading Capacity = AOTC
  • Investment Decision ID = 0000000004
  • Execution Decision ID = 0000000004
  • Client ID = 0000000004
