TT provides several Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that let users create their own applications that can leverage the TT platform. Users must be given permissions to create application keys for each API.

• A TT REST API key enables users to develop TT REST API applications.
• The TT .NET Client Side key allows developers to use the TT .NET SDK Client Side to create C# .NET applications that communicate with the TT platform from your servers. Specifically, applications can subscribe for prices, route orders, and receive fills.

Notes:

• API keys incur additional charges and can only be activated by administrators with the appropriate permissions. For information on activating these features, contact your Customer Success Manager.
• The user account creating the API key must have a TT Pro license to use keys for the TT .NET API. TT REST API supports users with a standard or pro license.

To enable these features:

1. In the Users tab, select the user whose trade mode you want to change.

   

   The selected user profile is displayed.

   

2. In the Advanced Settings section, enable one or both of the following:.
   • Can create TT Rest API Key

     

   • Can create TT .NET SDK Client Side Key.

     

3. Click Save Changes.

After enabling API key creation for a user, the user will be able to:

• Create an API key for TT REST API application development
• Create an API key for TT .NET SDK Client Side application development
