Improvements

ADL

Addressed an issue within the existing MinVol algo logic that ensures upon recovery, the logic should never place a buy and sell child order in the same instance.
The fixes will be deployed to a version called "MinVol_v2" within UAT, and will be available to all UAT users within the "Shared with me" section of the algo list pane. This version will replace the existing "MinVol" algo on August 5th, 2025.

Plan

Exchanges

(Ref 184725 ) LME has recently launched TAS instruments for 6 products (Aluminium, Zinc, Copper, Lead, Tin and Nickel) in UAT. LME does not support creation of strategies on these instruments.
When using the Strategy Creation widget to create a new strategy for the non-TAS instruments, if the expiry for one of the legs is same as the expiry of the 3M instrument and a weekly instrument in that case the widget wrongly picks up the respective TAS instrument for that product. If the trader now clicks on the "Create" button , the strategy cannot be created and the Exchange returns an error saying "LME_NTP Exchange rejection : 5030 duplicate strategy.
Workaround : Instead of selecting the date for the 3M / Weekly contract, if a trader clicks on the "3M" button , then the correct instrument will be selected and the strategy can be created successfully
Solution : TT is currently working on a permanent solution and will communicate the deployment dates in the near future.

Improvements

General

We have added more resiliency to handle network disruptions and failures when communicating with TT back end services. Specifically, improvements were made to better handle disruptions when creating manual fills, posting updates from the Position Manager widget, and using OMS features from the Order Book and Orders and Fills widget (OFW) such as care order locking, unlocking, bulking, stitching, splitting and releasing and allocating fills.

(Ref 182504)

07/23/2025

Fixes

Order Book

Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Order Book to display rejected orders from previous sessions.

Improvements

Order Entry

Currently, when launching an order entry widget, e.g., an Order Ticket and/or MD Trader, to configure an order, if a default account in Order Profiles is NOT populated for a market, TT software automatically seeds the order entry widget with the first account from the list of accounts available for that market. Some users feel that this "auto-seeding" behavior can potentially cause user errors trading into incorrect accounts, and instead would like TT to require selecting an account before placing an order. To achieve this, we have enhanced the current behavior when using the Preference > Orders > "Seed blank account for profile without associated account in Setup", to always force the user to select an account when (1) The selected Profile does not have an account assigned to it in TTUS, or (2) More than one account is available for the profile/market combination. As part of this work, we have also added a Company level setting in Setup (OFF by default) that controls that TTW Preference. When this new setting is enabled in Setup, TTW will enable the Preference and not allow the user to disable it. If disabled in Setup, TTW will allow the user to enable/disable the preference in TTW.

Improvements

FIX Services

Eurex OTC supports its native spread and strategies with price per leg.
To support its OTC trades, the trade capture message will include details of the spread instrument and legs in the report_legs tag. The first reports_leg tag will include details of the spread instrument along with price and side. Subsequent, report_legs in the message will carry details of the underlying instruments and prices.

Improvements

FIX Services

Added tag 393 (TotalNumSecurities) to spread fills (execution reports) sent by TT FIX for CME UDS covered options. The presence of tag 393 indicates the inclusion of futures allocations in the execution report. The value set to 1 will notify there is no futures allocation and the value set to 2 will notify the fill includes of futures allocations.

Improvements

FIX Services

Admin users now have the option to configure the time zone of the FIX session reset times. The field 'TimeZone' under the 'FIX Session' setup supports for time zone values consistent with the Olson database. This feature will eliminate the task of updating the session reset times every spring and fall.
All reset times currently in setup are unchanged and remain in UTC. Hence, there will be no impact to the ongoing session setups.
After the release, the users can update the time zone and reset times based on user preference.

Improvements

Order Entry

We have improved the “Work with same order type” feature that can be applied to a collection of care orders. When using an algo (TT or third-party) on care orders with different order types (e.g., a mix of Limit and Market), the child order type in the algo parameter pane will default to "<from parent>". If the user does not override this default and intentionally selects a specific child order type, the individual child orders will be created with the order type from the care order. Additionally, the "<from parent>" parameter can be saved as part of a template for use across multiple care orders in the future.

Improvements

MD Trader

On August 4, LME Select will introduce production support for trade-at-settlement (“TAS”) functionality. As part of the roll out, the LME intends to re-enable TAS (price code “TC” Trade at Close) for 3-month Nickel, and launch TAS on the 3-month contracts for Aluminium, Copper, Zinc, Lead and Tin.
These products are now available for testing in the TT UAT environment.
In Production, the products will be visible, but in HALT state as of July 26, and trading will begin after August 4.
The product codes will be listed on TT as follows:
1. Aluminium - AHDF 3M TC 2. Zinc - ZSDF 3M TC 3. Copper - CADF 3M TC 4. Lead - PBDF 3M TC 5. Tin - SNDF 3M TC 6. Nickel - NIDF 3M TC
Note: Should a user observe a discrepancy in the tick size of these products, the following steps should be followed in order to resolve the issue in TTW:
Step 1: In the TT Workspace, Click on Edit --> Preferences Step 2 : On The "General" tab of Preferences, find the checkbox for "Cache instrument data locally" Step 3: If checked, uncheck the setting, select "Clear Cache" and then refresh the Workspace
Users may also reach out to TT support for additional assistance in clearing out the cache.
