Created a new setting named 'Energy limits in Contracts by default' in TT Setup located within Company Settings. When this new setting is applied within TT Setup the 'Enforce energy limits in Contracts' setting in will be enabled (checked) any time a new limit is created. Includes Limits for User, Account, and Risk Groups. This new setting does not apply retroactively or adjust the ‘Enforce energy limits in Contracts’ setting on any existing limits.

Plan

Order Entry

In July 2024, TT introduced support for the MX SAIL B4 version, which included four new fields for regulatory compliance: Short Code, Unique ID, Sponsored Access Flag, Algo Trading Flag. For more details on this release, refer to the https://library.tradingtechnologies.com/downloads/MX_SAIL_B4_API_Upgrade.pdf . In response to customer feedback, TT has introduced a new order tag default (OTD) field called “Order Origination Firm” on accounts which can be used to set the Unique ID field. Rules for setting Unique ID: -When Investment Decision ID is configured, it is used to set the Unique ID. -When Order Origination Firm is configured, it is used to set the Unique ID. -If both Investment Decision ID and Order Origination Firm are configured, Order Origination Firm takes precedence and is used to set the Unique ID. . AlgoTradingFlag configuration The AlgoTradingFlag can be configured using two approaches: 1. Investment Decision Qualifier (IDQ): (Tag 2376) -Using the Investment Decision Qualifier (IDQ) on accounts -FIX users can set this using the [PartiesGrp] tags: 453 (NoPartyIDs), 448 (PartyID), 452 (PartyRole), 2376 (PartyRoleQualifier) Values for 2376: 22 = Algo, 24 = Natural Person . 2. [OrderAttributeGrp]: (Tag 2595): FIX users can set the AlgoTradingFlag using the following tags: 2593 (NoOrderAttributes) = 1 2594 (OrderAttributeType) = 4 2595 (OrderAttributeValue): Y for AlgoTradingFlag = Yes, N for AlgoTradingFlag = No . Note: No new fields or OTDs have been introduced for the OrderAttributeGrp. This enhancement does not impact the previous implementation of the MX SAIL B4 upgrade.

Improvements

Settings

Currently, the sounds for "New" and "Cancel" orders play for both manual orders and orders by automated tools. We have now separated the order actions between manual and algo to allow you to be notified when one or the other occurs. To implement this, the current two sound settings have been renamed to reference manual actions, and we have added two new sound settings for algo actions.

Improvements

MD Trader

Previously the Cancel quantity buttons in MD Trader displayed large quantities with a granularity of one (1) decimal place. For example, if you are working a quantity of 1,000-1,049, the button displays 1.0k. From 1,050-1,150 it would display 1.1k. To improve this, the CXL buttons now display the quantity values with two (2) digit decimal precision. Mouse hover over the button displays a tooltip with the exact quantity.
