FIX Services

Feb. 7 Update: Nasdaq has re-scheduled the go-live date for the NASDAQ_NED platform to Saturday March 26th with a first trading day of Monday March 28th.

Nasdaq is “re-platforming” their Nordic Equity Derivatives markets off the current API and onto a new API, targeting production as of March 28, 2022. The full background is available on the TT System News page (link attached).

TT Clients who currently access Nordic Equity Derivatives via TT FIX are strongly encouraged to integration test their market data, order routing and/or drop copy applications in TT’s UAT environment as soon as possible.

Note that the following values will be changing on NASDAQ_NED for every contract previously available on NDAQ_EU as a result of the exchange-mandated migration:
* Symbol
* Instrument ID
* MIC Code
* Security ID
* Alias

The link below provides a mapping of Nordic Equity Derivatives products from NDAQ_EU to Nasdaq_NED. Note that the Instrument IDs listed are for the UAT environment only. We are working with the exchange to determine when these values will be available for the Production environment.

Improvements

Order Entry

The Order Ticket notional values for proposed orders on futures contracts has been changed to display as a text label below the Buy/Sell buttons, and now includes commas to make the large values easier to read (or uses periods if the global preference for separator is set to periods). As part of these changes, a new Order Ticket setting allows you to define the value in either the local currency of the instrument or in USD.

04/07/2022

Fixes

Audit Trail

Fixed an issue where using the "Execute" button in the Order Book on a staged order generated an erroneous "Staged order claim forbidden" risk reject message in the Audit Trail even though the child order is successfully placed into the market.

03/25/2022

04/07/2022

Fixes

Order Book

Fixed an issue in the Order Book where the currently applied Time in Force is not validated when changing the order type on an existing order. Some order types support a restricted set of TIFs, and changing to/from one of those order types could result in the new order being rejected if the TIF is not valid.

Fills

03/25/2022

04/07/2022

Fixes

Order Book

Fixed issues related to existing Orders and Fills widgets (OFW) saved to a workspace. The issues addressed were (1) sometimes the Route column would show a filter applied when there is none, and (2) sometimes confirming a filled order would not recognize it as being confirmed in the fills pane.

Improvements

Performance

We have significantly improved the initial startup process for admin users monitoring large numbers of users and accounts by searching for limits needed by the logged in user on demand, instead of at startup. The front end application requires limits for margin calculations in the positions widget, and for pre-trade risk checks for TT Order Types on native instruments. We have seen some admin users with more than 2 million individual limits, and this new behavior reduces their startup needs by 99.999%.

03/25/2022

04/07/2022

Improvements

Order Entry

When configuring an order you can now increase/decrease the price and quantity using the plus + and minus - keys on the number pad. Note that because prices on some instruments accept + and - as part of the price, the price adjustment via the keyboard requires enabling this feature via hotkeys.

Improvements

Exchanges

TT will now support the configuration of Order Tag Defaults (OTD) for both Execution Decision Qualifier and Investment Decision Qualifier. Support will be rolled out on a market by market basis, beginning with Eurex and EEX. The behavior is as follows:

On a New Order Single
- If the OTD is not configured, and there is no override sent on the order, the current behavior will persist and manual_order_indicator will be used to set the default qualifier values as it does today
- Override and TTUS lookup are allowed

For Change and Delete actions
- Override is only allowed if the user id / algo changes or source is FA / API
- TTUS lookup is only allowed if the user id / algo changes;
- When TTUS lookup is allowed, but the OTDs for these qualifiers are not configured the manual_order_indicator will be used to set the default qualifier values
- When override / TTUS lookup is not allowed, or somehow both have no valid values, the working orders' original values are used
