Trade App on TT (desktop)

TT is pleased to announce that TT Desktop (TTD) is now available for general production availability. TTD is a version of the TT trading application that operates without a browser and supports multiple "windows" positioned anywhere on the desktop viewable area. The functional widgets are exactly the same between TTD and TT.

TTD utilizes a lightweight "launcher" application that requires .NET 3.5. Installing the launcher application creates a desktop icon, which when clicked initiates the login, downloads the necessary files and starts TT Desktop. TTD is only supported on Windows machines. For more details about TTD click "Learn More" below.

Improvements

Settings

The various application customization options have been separated into two groups: user "Preferences" and widget "Settings".

Preferences -- such as account rules, order entry settings, sounds and other platform-wide defaults -- are accessible from the main titlebar Edit menu. Preferences (formerly known as "Global defaults") apply to all of your workspaces.

Widget settings are accessible from the right-click menu on each widget, and define the display and behaviors of specific widgets. You can set defaults for new widgets by right-clicking the widget title bar and selecting "Widget defaults".
