Order Entry

TT Order Tickets for crypto are now single side (buy or sell) only and support a new field that displays the notional value of a trade before it is placed. Trader is able to enter a notional trade amount that will convert to the right qty taking potential commissions into account. TT Order Tickets and MD Trader now display configurable % buttons that enable a trader to easily and accurately seed an order quantity based on a specific percent of their available balance in that asset.

Improvements

Positions

A recent system improvement made the Assets widget live in crypto.trade.tt, and the refresh button is no longer needed to see a live position. As a result, we have eliminated a TT field and widget named Position that had caused a fair amount of confusion. Because Position was only supposed to reflect positions in individual asset instruments (ie, asset spreads), we decided to remove it since there was an expectation that it would match data in the Assets widget, which it was not intended to do.

Improvements

Orders

We are pleased to announce the production release of Order Passing as a supported feature on the TT platform. This functionality allows traders to pass the visibility and management of open, working orders to another trader or group of traders, referred to as the “Caretaker” group. While an order is being watched by the Caretaker group, the order originator and all traders sharing the account with the originator have full visibility of the order, and see updates and partial fills as they occur. Control of a passed order is shared by both groups, allowing either group to take immediate action on the order as needed. The two groups do not need to share accounts. There is no disruption to an order during the passing process. Passed orders continue to work in the market and maintain position in queue during the passing action.
