Improvements

Exchanges

Euronext is upgrading their trading platform to Optiq, a next-generation platform that provides higher performance. Market data infrastructure will be migrated during Phase 1 and it is scheduled to go live on July 24.

The derivative pre-production will start on July 24. During the following week, the exchange will broadcast Optiq derivatives feed but with no service guarantee. This means that the current XDP feed will be the primary feed. Optiq derivatives will go live on July 31, followed by a dual-run period where Optiq will be the primary feed for derivatives. The exchange will stop broadcasting the old XDP derivatives on August 25.

Between July 24th and July 31st, TT will support Optiq market data under "Euronext_DEV" market. XDP feed will be continued to be supported under "Euronext". On July 31st, "Euronext" will start supporting Optiq market data. At the end of the dual-run period, on August 25, "Euronext_DEV" will be decommissioned.

TT's product codes will change when we add support for Optiq. Euronext exchange code or location indicator is used to identify the market place upon which the product is listed (p: paris, a: amsterdam, etc.). Historically, TT used this code as part of the product symbol. This indicator will be dropped in conjunction with the move to Optiq. The new product codes will match exchange codes. For example, jFCE will change to FCE. Customers should rebuild their workspaces and cancel any working orders when Optiq is made the primary feed on July 31st.

Improvements

FIX Services

TT Setup now supports an option on the FIX session to send a "short form" order ID in tag 37 / 16113. The underlying unique order ID is not changed, but is represented in base 32 format instead TT's standard hexadecimal GUID format.

When enabled, TT FIX will include the standard format TT GUID in tag <16116> TTOrderGUID.

For example:
Tag 16116 (original)
16116=d9e95c8f-93b1-4559-8174-c47e8ba1b95d

Tag 37 (short form)
37=3HUVZD4TWFCVTALUYR7IXINZLU
