TT provides the following premium services:
The Setup application on TT provides you the ability to configure the reserved services and markets for TT Reserved and TT Prime, as well as give your users permission to use each premium service. After your servers are configured in Setup, TT will deploy, monitor, and load balance the reserved infrastructure in TT co-located data centers.
TT Reserved and TT Prime servers are deployed as part of a generally available cluster. If a reserved server fails, the generally available servers in the cluster automatically pick up the connections (and accounts on those connections) that were processed by the failed server. No manual intervention is needed.
In the event of a reserved server software crash, the software will restart and recover instantaneously and the reserved server will failover to a generally available server in the cluster. Once the software recovers, TT Operations will move the connections and accounts back to the reserved server. This is typically done during a trading break to prevent disruption.
In the event of a reserved server hardware failure, the reserved server will failover to a generally available server in the cluster. TT Operations will redeploy the reserved server on a new host and add it to the cluster, then move the connections and accounts back to the reserved server. This is typically done during a trading break to prevent disruption.
If both the reserved and generally available TT Reserved or TT Prime servers for a market fail in a primary data center, TT Operations will move all connections and accounts to the generally available disaster recovery (DR) servers in the DR data center. There will likely be a trading disruption during the failover.
If you are running a reserved DR server in a DR data center, you have the option of having your dedicated instance support the failover market. However, the DR server will need to restart to begin servicing the additional market.
TT Reserved and TT Prime are sold and activated at the company level by TT. If you are interested in TT Reserved or TT Prime, contact your TT Sales Manager or Customer Success representative to initiate the ordering and deployment process.
The TT Onboarding team will configure and deploy each TT Reserved/TT Prime instance as requested, or can assist you in configuring the servers for each market that you trade.
