Administering FIX Rulesets

Use the FIX Rulesets | Settings tab to modify existing FIX Rulesets. You can also import or export FIX Rulesets from the data grid on this tab.

Modifying a FIX Ruleset

To access a FIX Ruleset, select it from the list.

The following tabs are displayed:

• Settings: Specify the name of the FIX Ruleset.
• Rules: Configure message and tag rules
• Symbol Mappings: Define rules for mapping symbol
• Sessions: Associate FIX sessions with this FIX Ruleset.

Exporting a FIX Ruleset

Note: After testing and verifying that a FIX Ruleset works successfully in the TT UAT environment, you can export a FIX Ruleset. The Ruleset is exported as a JSON file. Then you can import the FIX Ruleset into your production environment, knowing it is fully tested. TT recommends using this approach to avoid editing FIX Rulesets in the production environment.

To export a FIX Ruleset:

1. Click More | FIX Rulesets in the left navigation pane to display the available Rulesets.

2. Select the desired FIX Ruleset and click Export.

   

   The file is exported to your browser or file location on your device.

Importing a FIX Ruleset

Note: After testing and verifying that a FIX Ruleset works successfully in the TT UAT environment, you can export a FIX Ruleset. The Ruleset is exported as a JSON file. Then you can import the FIX Ruleset into your production environment, knowing it is fully tested. TT recommends using this approach to avoid editing FIX Rulesets in the production environment.

To import a FIX Ruleset:

1. Click More | FIX Rulesets in the left navigation pane to display the available FIX Rulesets.

2. Click Import.

   

3. Specify the location for the exported JSON file, enter a New FIX Ruleset Name, and click Upload.
