    • In the Type field, select either BM&F Derivatives or BOVESPA Equities. This field sets the connection to route orders for either derivatives products or equities products on B3.
  4. Configure the settings in the Additional Settings section.

  5. Configure the following B3 settings per connection:

    • Primary Port — Sets the exchange-provided port for connecting to the exchange. This is required.
    • Password — The session password provided by the exchange. This is required.
    • Target Comp ID — The ID of the firm receiving messages from the exchange host. This ID is generated and provided by the exchange based on your firm name. This field populates the value of Tag 56 (TargetCompID) in all inbound messages on this connection. This is required.
    • Sender Comp ID — Identifies the name of the firm that sends messages to the exchange. Enter the exchange-provided ID. This field populates the value of Tag 49 (SenderCompID) in all outbound messages for the connection. This is required.

When this setting is checked, all orders except GTC and GTDate orders are canceled when the session disconnects. By default, this setting is unchecked and all orders are persisted at the exchange when the session disconnects. Sent to the exchange API as Tag 35002.
    • Max Order Rate — (Optional) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum.
