EBS Direct

Adding an EBS Direct connection

To add a connection for EBS Direct:

  1. Click Connections in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click +New Connection
  3. Configure the settings in the General Settings section:

    • Connection Enabled: Check this setting to activate the connection. Uncheck to deactivate the connection.
    • Name: This is a required field for creating a connection.
    • Exchange: Select either EBSD_SW_NY. Only one exchange is allowed per connection.
    • Type: Select Default.
  4. Configure the settings in the Additional Settings section.

  5. Configure the following settings per connection:

    • Order Entry Primary IP — The primary IP of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Order Entry Primary Port — The primary port of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Order Entry Username — The username of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Order Entry Password — The password of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Order Entry Sender Comp ID — The sender comp ID of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Order Entry Target Comp Id — The target comp ID of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Order Entry Secondary IP — The secondary IP of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Order Entry Secondary Port — The secondary port of the order session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Exchange IP — The primary IP of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Port — The primary port of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Username — The username of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Password — The password of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Sender Comp ID — The sender comp ID of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Target Comp ID — The target comp ID of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Secondary IP — The secondary IP of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Market Data Secondary Port — The secondary IP of the market data session as provided by EBS Direct.
    • Max Order Rate (orders/sec) — (Optional) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum.
    • Contact Email — Optionally, add a best contact email that TT can use to contact your firm if needed.

  6. Click Create. You can select the connection in the data grid and review the connection settings in the Settings tab.

  7. Click the Accounts tab to assign an existing account to the connection. Multiple accounts can be added to a single connection.

    Note The connection will not become active until at least one account is assigned.

  8. Click Save Changes.
