LISA Login Policy Setup

Login Policy Setup

LISA's users can be assigned to one or more Login Policy profiles.

  1. To access the Login Policy window, go to [Configuration Menu]>[Security]>[Login Policy].
  2. The Login Policy window opens.

This window is divided into two parts:

  • A vertical Action Panel
  • A list of the Login Policies already defined.

To see the different actions user can perform with the Action Panel (Delete, Export, Email, etc.), refer to General Screen Layout.

Follow these steps to add a new Login Policy:

  1. Click on the [ Add] button located in the Action Panel.
  2. The Add a new Login Policy window opens.
  3. Enter a Name and a Description.
  4. Select the different options you want to enable and click on the [Add] button to add this new login policy.
  5. Edit your Users under [Configuration]>[Security]>[User] and select your newly created Login Policy in the login Policy section under the General tab.

Note Do not apply login policy with password expiry > 0 or option "Force user to change password at next login" in the login setup when the user is connecting using login NT authentication.
