IDEM Wholesale Trades

Using the Blocktrader widget, you can submit committed and cross trades on the IDEM exchange.

Note: Cross trades on IDEM are considered OTC trades. Prices generated by the cross trades are not included in the central order book, and fills do not update LTP in the book.

Supported wholesale trade types on IDEM

The following IDEM Wholesale trades are supported on TT:

  • Committed - 1 sided — Occurs when two exchange-approved parties pre-arrange a transaction and their committed orders are matched at an equal price and quantity on opposite sides of the trade.
  • Committed Cross - 2 sided — Occurs when a single party submits both sides of a transaction that are matched at an equal price and quantity. No counterparty is necessary as both sides fill against each other. Note: Package orders on IDEM can be submitted as "Committed Cross - 2 sided" trades for exchange and user-defined strategies.
