On TT, basic support for the following additional markets is available: BVMF, MX, Euronext (Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Lisbon), MEFF, NLX, OSE, TOCOM, and TFX.

Simulation

Note: If you are configuring a connection to one of these exchanges in the Simulation environment, create the connection and assign accounts and users to begin trading.

When configuring a connection to these exchanges, you will see the following message:

When adding a new connection in the Simulation environment, configure the following settings in the General Settings section:

  • Connection enabled — Click to ensure the user can route orders to the exchange via this connection.
  • Name — This is a required field for creating a connection.
  • Exchange — Select an exchange to connect to. Only one exchange is allowed per connection.
  • Type — Use the default connection type.
  • Max Order Rate (orders/sec) — (Additional Settings section:) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum. This field is optional.

Live

Note: TT support will assist you in configuring your connection to these exchanges in the Live environment. Contact TT support by clicking Support in the title bar.

When adding a new connection in the Live environment, configure the following settings in the General Settings section as instructed by TT support:

  • Exchange — Select FIX Order Gateway
  • Type — Select one of the following:
    • External — Required for connecting to an exchange.
    • External EMEA — May be required for connecting to exchanges in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (e.g., Euronext, MEFF).
    • External APAC — May be required for connecting to exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region (e.g., TOCOM, TFX, SGX).

In the Exchange Specific Settings section, configure the following:

  • Primary IP — Sets the primary IP address for connecting the FIX order session. This is a required field.
  • Primary Port — Sets the primary port for connecting the FIX order session. This is a required field.
  • Sender Comp ID — Identifies the name of your firm in FIX Tag 49 in all outbound messages sent via the connection. This is a required field.
  • Target Comp ID — Identifies the name of the host that sends messages on this connection. This field supplies the value of the FIX Tag 56 in all inbound messages to the TT platform. This is a required field.
  • Password — An user password for the session that is used for logging in to the exchange.
  • Restrict To Markets — Restrict access to only the selected markets. Click in the field to scroll through and select an exchange. Click + to add markets. Click X next to each field to remove a market.
  • Max Order Rate (orders/sec) — (Additional Settings section:) Sets the maximum number of orders per second that a user can enter per connection. This limit cannot exceed the exchange-defined order rate maximum. This field is optional.
